Training for Employers
We mention this as a separate heading because it training is becoming increasingly important to our clients and we are noticing a significant increase in our clients requirements for bespoke training.
We have particular experience for providing bespoke training packages to human resources departments and to managers within businesses.
Our experience, in particular over recent years, is that the increasing complexity of employment law and the need to ensure that procedures are followed means that many businesses can 'trip up' on a technicality. This can cause an employer to lose any subsequent claim which might be brought in the Employment Tribunal.
All of our training is tailor made to suit the particular requirements of the business to which we are giving training. We recognise the importance of making sure that any training is practical and pitched correctly whether it be to human resources professionals or, for example, to managing directors or finance directors.
More recently we have found that particularly popular topics include advice on grievance and disciplinary procedures. This has arisen out of the relatively new legislation on these matters. Our clients are also increasingly concerned about discrimination issues.
We also run regular breakfast seminars covering topical issues. Further details of the topics covered and the program for forthcoming seminars is in our news and events section.
