Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and has specialised in employment law since then. He was previously a partner in the employment department of HBJ Gateley Wareing.
Michael has extensive experience in all aspects of employment law including Tribunal litigation, the TUPE regulations, trading and recognition, class actions and day to day people issues facing business. Tribunal advocacy is a particular specialism.
Michael particularly enjoys providing seminars and training both to clients and at business events in the wider business community. He has considerable experience of doing so to a vast range of audiences of up to several hundred people.
Michael has an LL.M in employment relations specialising in the TUPE regulations and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Michael is married to Julie and has a daughter, Caitlin. Julie puts it differently - that she lives with 2 children.
Outside of work he enjoys football, films and current affairs and reluctantly admits to being an Aston Villa season ticket holder but he asks that please do not let that cloud your judgement of him.
