Jo qualified as a Solicitor in 1989.
She trained at Nelsons Solicitors here in Nottingham, and worked there for 12 years specialising in employment law. Jo joined Richard in his specialist employment law practice in 2000.
Jo has specialised in employment and discrimination law since the early 1990s representing a broad spectrum of clients on a wide variety of employment law issues. Jo has extensive experience of working with public and private organisations to deliver training on practical issues in the workplace.
For some years Jo has also written for popular magazines on issues of topical interest such as the rights of pregnant women, paternity rights, obligations towards disabled and older workers and more general employment issues. Jo also teaches advocacy skills at Nottingham Trent University and lectures in employment law at De Montfort University.
Jo's interests include running, reading and very light gardening.
